Dress Code 

Proper attire is essential for a productive dance experience. Our dress code ensures safety and allows instructors to provide accurate feedback. Before coming to the studio, please ensure you have the correct clothing and footwear for your specific class. Hair should be neatly tied back to prevent distractions during movement. 

 

Jewelry is NOT allowed! (with the exception of small stud earrings)

Not sure what to wear? Don't worry! Our instructors and office staff are here to help. If you have any questions about appropriate attire for your class, please don't hesitate to ask. We're always happy to provide guidance and ensure you're comfortable and prepared for your dance lessons.

Ballet -

  • black leotard

  • pink tights

  • pink ballet shoes

  • hair in bun

Jazz -

  • form fitting top/bottom

    • (sports bra, athletic tank, leotard, etc.)

    • (leggings, dance shorts, etc.)

  • tan jazz shoes or half-soles (Capezio)

  • hair pulled back

HipHop -

  • urban street wear

    •  (t-shirt, jersey, tank top, etc.)

    • (joggers, sweatpants, etc.)

  • tennis shoes (studio use only - street shoes not permitted in studios)

  • hair pulled back

Contemporary/Lyrical -

  • form fitting top/bottom

    • (sports bra, athletic tank, leotard, etc.)

    • (leggings, dance shorts, etc.)

  • half-soles (Capezio)

  • hair pulled back

Drill -

  • form fitting top/bottom

    • (sports bra, athletic tank, leotard, etc.)

    • (leggings, dance shorts, etc.)

  • tan jazz shoes or half-soles (Capezio)

    • kick boots optional​

  • hair pulled back

Tap -

  • form fitting top/bottom

    • (sports bra, athletic tank, leotard, etc.)

    • (leggings, dance shorts, etc.)

  • black tap shoes

  • hair pulled back
