Dancer Attendance & Make-Up Class Policies
Late Arrivals
If your dancer is more than 10 minutes late, they will not be allowed to participate in the class. This policy helps ensure the safety of all dancers and allows them to properly warm up and stretch before dancing. No make-up class will be provided for late arrivals.
Absences & Make-Up Classes
Teachers must be notified at least 24 hours in advance if your dancer will not be attending class.
Make-up classes are only offered for emergencies or when at least 72 hours’ notice is given for an absence. Make-up classes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
Class Length Based on Attendance
If your dancer is the only dancer attending class, the class will be a 30-minute class, therefore if your dancer is 10 minutes late the class will be shortened to 20 minutes to respect the instructor’s time.
If there are 2 dancers in class, the class will be 45 minutes. With fewer dancers, classes move more quickly, allowing instructors to provide more individualized feedback and one-on-one attention.

Make-Up Class Policy
If your dancer misses a class due to unforeseen emergency circumstances, they will have up to two weeks to make up that class.
Please note: this policy does not apply to absences due to social activities such as attending a school game, holidays, sleepovers, or vacations.

Adult Class Policies & Reminders
Late Arrivals
Adults who are 10 minutes or more late will not be allowed to participate in class. However, their class card will still be punched.
Class Reservations & Cancellations
If you reserve your spot through the Band app, your class card will be punched unless you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance.
Pass Expiration
All passes expire on May 1st, so please make sure to use any remaining classes before they expire.
Class Cancellations
Our instructors may cancel an adult class up to 24 hours in advance if they are feeling sick and are unable to find a substitute instructor. Adult classes operate on a punch-card system and are not the same as student classes, which are registered for the full semester.
